How long can you wait on the Lord?

“This week our Sermon was from James 5:7-12.

How long can you wait on the Lord? How does a person learn patience? Is it a born trait or a learned trait? What is the place of Hope in the process of perseverance? Perseverance is a CRITICAL TRAIT for all Christ followers. You will need patient endurance and perseverance every day for the rest of your life. This is a normal state of being until the Lord returns and makes all things new. The things that increase your ability to persevere are: Good examples, hope and trust. When we hear the testimony of others we find strength for our own journey. Hope is a powerful thing… If you believe you are close you can endure. Trust in God comes from relationship and this takes time and requires effort.
