Conversation with The Church

Sermon 15 June – Acts 2:42-47

The church must rise to the need of our day. Acts 2:42-27 gives us a grid of sort of what a church that impacts its world looks like. There are five characteristics,

-it is a movement as opposed to an institution

-it is intentional as opposed to unintentional, devoted to Word, Community, Reflection, and Prayer

-it is scary as opposed to tame

-it is an influence as opposed to being influenced

-it is growing as opposed to declining
