Conversation with His Mother

Sermon 11 May || John 2:1-12

Jesus’s conversation with his mother was fitting for Mother’s Day. In it, I believe God is teaching us to 1) come to him with our needs and fears; 2) yield to his timing and will; 3) remain tenacious in seeking God to do whatever it is he wills to do; and 4) have eyes wide open to see his miraculous work.

• 1-What are the driving needs we must be devoted to bringing to Jesus? What list do you bring to God each day?
• 2-Jesus’s response seemed indifferent, and then he acted. How do you explain this?
• 3-Where do you believe God may be working, one that most people might be missing?
