Celebrating Nicole is easy for me. Sunday, the 21st, is her birthday. She is one of the most capable people I have ever met. She’s smart, confident, creative and talented in so many ways. She’s full of life and full of faith. Whenever God has called us to do hard things she has never wavered or held back. This has certainly been true of our move to The Netherlands. Not only did she give up her business, her car, her house and her lifestyle but she did it with joy and has poured herself into our life here with passion. From church work days to planning meetings she keeps showing up to serve. Nicole is right there with me when we bike, train or bus to homes for dinner several times each week. There is so much that Nicole does to help Trinity and to help me. On Sunday we will celebrate her birthday. Every day we celebrate her life.
