Wow! What a beautiful Holy Week at Trinity International Church. The Good Friday Service was anointed and Easter was overflowing with people, with testimonies of life change and with great joy. Seven people got baptized and each one boldly shared how God changed their life. Afterwards, Jesse, one of the seven, sang a beautiful solo version of Lauren Daigle’s “Goodness of God.” One of Trinity’s long-time members said, “Church is fun again. I was going to church for years because it’s the right thing to do and the right place to be. But now it’s fun again.” Of course we all know church is not necessarily about being fun, but the heart of the comment was recognizing the fact that there is joy and peace in our community. It has become normal to look forward to Sunday Services. Throughout the bible “the house of God” is associated with celebration, peace, shared encouragement and deep spiritual joy. Psalm 122:1 says, “I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’” Psalm 16:11 says, “In your presence there is fullness of joy.” We have witnessed the joy of the Lord in our church. We have seen miraculous life change and answered prayers. We are On Mission, Together. We are united with each other in mutual love and respect despite our diverse backgrounds. We are united with God in His prayer for us, “That they may be one even as we are one.” John 17:21. I am thankful for you and for the season of plenty that God has given to us. His favor is on our church. Let’s continue to seek Him, worship Him and serve Him as we love God and love our neighbors. The best is yet to come.
“Trinity International Church is a safe, welcoming, community of Christ-followers who uphold a high view of Scripture, celebrate unity in diversity and participate fully in the abiding Christian life as described in the Bible. We are united by the principle that in the essentials there should be unity, in all else there should be charity.”
