Thank you Trinity Church! As I celebrated my 56th year of life this past week in a new land with a new Church Family I felt so loved and appreciated. You all know how to love well and it was a joy to be on the receiving end. We certainly have work to do rebuilding and taking new ground as a Church, but the ability to love well is the greatest calling for the People of God and Trinity Church has demonstrated to me over and over that it has learned how to love well. I love you too!
“Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40
My wife is now here in Holland with me. Nicole arrived on Tuesday, the day before my birthday, so that was all the gift I needed. We are excited to be at Trinity again and look forward to many adventures, to new victories, to building and to growing with you all. God is good. The best is yet to come.
